Who we are

MemeFactory ("we", "us") is an AI meme generator available at memefactory.in. This policy explains what data we collect and why.

What we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service:

• Your email address, obtained when you sign in with Google. We use it only to identify your account and enforce daily usage limits.
• Usage counts — the number of memes you generate each day, linked to your email, so we can apply fair-use limits.
• The prompts you type are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate memes. We do not build advertising profiles from them.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not collect your name, contacts, photos, or location beyond country-level region.

Third-party services

We rely on Google (sign-in), OpenAI (meme text generation), and our hosting providers (Vercel, Railway). Generated memes and minimal error logs may be processed by these providers to deliver the service. Each has its own privacy policy.

Data retention

Usage counts reset daily. Generated meme images are stored temporarily and may be deleted periodically. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
